Yep unhinge the spring and the drum belt comes off but pulley belt still remains on until it is taken off the motor spindle which goes through the plastic casing to the rear of the dryer.

No it's not the belt that goes around the drum it's the small pulley belt I can't get off. The spindle from the motor goes straight through the back end so from what I can figure I've got to either take the whole back end off or try and get the motor out to slide the new small pulley belt over...

Wondering if someone knows how to replace the pulley belt on this tumble dryer????
I've took the sides off and took the drive belt off the motor also taken the fan off the spindle but I can't see how I can get the motor out to put the new pulley belt on.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for all the replys, quite in depth ones at that. It is for work purposes for filling in a minor works cert. I've emailed the manufacturer and waiting for their reply.
all are original well apart from the 2 that I have put in previous I got off ebay. there make is nichicon..
yes same symptoms as before and the originals was obvious straight away bulging at the top so I changed them 2.
from close inspection the 2 brown ones look ever so slightly inverted...
buxton would be too far for me, I was wanting to sort it myself and take it in as a last resort.

the 2nd and 3rd ones to the bottom left I have done previous.
I think ill order all new capacitors with higher values to overkill what's been put in in the first place to see if that works. I don't have a meter so Ill just replace.. Can't remember what I brought last time I just know the values was all the same. Ill take a pic when I get back to show you...
