Hi , having an extension built which involves the removal of a hardwood Victorian Conservatory. Not having put it up , i would like to dismantle it and maybe get a few £ , as its in good nick General Question of where to start , Would it be roof down and does anyone know how the panels are...

Hi guys ...sorry work kept me away... I have only rung the BC ...no names etc...but worried as in about 6 mths i will be applying for full pp for a ground floor extension...had panic attack re them turning up for site visit and seeing my 'shed' in the garden...'whats that ' he say's...

jACKRAE... sorry its not that small...i should have made it clearer...its 20x10 with a hieght of 2.5 on the ridge...and over the 15 sq mtrs allowed...sorry for not being clearer

A thought :!: I could move the shed ..its big but not impossible...20' x 10'...some scaffold poles under the floorboards and a few burly men ( don't know too many of them)..but for beer...it could be done...then it becomes an exempt building ??? Any thoughts re plan B

Hi to all... just on the finishing touches re my shed... Looked for a final check re building regs..having thought that i was ok.. Now discovered that they do apply if within 1mtr of a boundary, over 15 sqmtrs area and second re the use of non-cumbustable material---its a wooden shed...

Sorry , the studwork ' for the walls run vertical...the cladding will be horizontal and also across the 'ceiling' , again on the ceiling rafters... i think the average spacing between the 'studs' and rafters is about 500mm.. 6.5 mtr run on the wall and about 3.2 mtr across the ceiling...does...

THANKS ...got the first batch of wood 'airing' as we speak...rather a lot to get , around 40 sq mtrs give or take...battens run vertical, so hopefully they will hold...we'll see !!

foxhole...thanks...do you think re fixing..i was going to 'invisible' nail through the tongue..do you think it may benefit as well with some wood glue on the battens ?

Hi to all...am now onto the interior of my summerhouse... i would like to clad a couple of the walls...cost really dictates maybe with the Wickes 8mm t&g...really worried about expansion after they have been fixed up. Does anyone have an tips re avioding this...either the way i put them up or...

Thanks Joe for reply... I have seen that...but wasn't too sure that it would defeat the purpose..i.e moisture resistant and then i slap a load of paste etc all over it...i don't know why i'm nervous regarding any plasterboard based thing . Prob because everything else is timber ?

Hi all , a project that i am doing is now onto decorating...i was thinking of using plywood , attach lining paper and then use a textured wallpaper over that.. Any special considerations re the plywood preparation..PVA ..etc or just a normal 'size' mix..thanks...
