    I am levering from the end of the skirting to prevent damage to the plasterwork above.Its nailed with 80mm nails which are solid into the blocks.I just had a vision that someone "must" have invented a tool to remove the bottom edge of the boards without having to remove them.

    I dont think I have explained myself correctly - The pilot flame works OK.I am familiar with the instructions & the remote operates OK intermittantly!! The "clicking" noise is not the spark & I am sure its from the motor its self.

    I have a Crystal Lagoon remote control gas fire.When I operate the remote there is occasionally a "clicking" noise coming from the motorised valve area,when this happens there is no responce.Has anyone any ideas or knows of a reliable engineer who is familiar with this set up?
