The instructions say to use a compression fitting on the 15mm water inlet plastic pipe. Can a push-fit connector be used instead :?:

yes of course it can, thats why the instructions say "use a compression fitting on the 15mm water inlet plastic pipe" we all know they meant to print, just ignore these instruction we only wrote them for the fun

Use a 15mm compession elbow, ....push fits will work but like the rest say ****????

Anyone worth there salt would know a shower is always over a draining point.

I recently installed a shower under a bath so there :D

Pushfits are standard on lots of showers, and pumps. It might be interesting to ask the mfr why they say compression. Usually there will be a reason for someting in the instructions, but not always!

worth noting for any would be plumbers that pushfits are not so good on Chrome Pipe either!

Thanks for all your help!

I fitted the shower last night in under 30 minutes.

Had a lovely shower this morning.

YES PUSH-FIT WORKED FINE ON THE MIRA CONNECTOR. :D

I wouldn't call what the "pros" gave me as advice. It was just pis*taking.

Well egg on the "So called Pros" faces as push-fit worked.
