Good morning all.

I'm installing the pipework to a mira 10.8kw electric shower.

will a bent tap connector work ok with the inlet to the shower, or is a compressed olive connection better?

(seems to me that the tap connector will be easier to couple up once the shower is in situ, after the grouting. The tap connector is certainly not putting as much mechanical strain on the shower inlet, when compressing the olive, having said that, if olive is the way forward, I'll compress on another fitting first to save the strain) I'm just worried the washer on the tap connector may not hold??

Any advice welcome.

Thanks.

Thanks for that seco. Mira supply an olive and nut with the shower, for the purpose of, so I will stick with that. I was just fishing really to see if the tap connector would also do the job.
