Hi All

I've been looking at ways to clean ther paint rollers that I've been using, and so far I've found two options.

Rejuv-a-roller (us only)
Dandy Paint Brush Cleaner (or some thing like that)

I like the idea of the rejuv-a-roller as I don't have to worry about the mess caused by a drill.

Has any one used both of these, or may be even a third option (other than a washing machine, which one person has suggested!)?

those inventions all look a bit gimmicky to me. you would be amazed how much paint is still on a roller when you go to wash it. if you take a scraper and scrape it down the roller you'll get about a third of a litre off a heavy pile roller. makes cleaning a whole lot easier.

you can get a special tool just for this job http://www.thepaintstore.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=900520&CartID=0 but a scraper works just as well

Just a quick tip, if you are planning on using the roller in the near future, wrap the roller in a carrier bag. This prevents the air getting to it and keeps the paint wet ready for the next days use.
I have left them in the past for a couple of weeks with no problems.

PS make sure it is not the tesco biodegradable ones tho!
