Hi,

I'm fitting new central heating to my property. I'll be fitting 5 rads in total. 3 on the ground floor and 2 on the 1st floor.

what's the best/easiest pipe to use, copper or plastic? I can solder no probs and i know someone who fitted a new system using plastic pipes and had a few leaks.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Copper if you can afford it, otherwise copper away from boiler and up to each rad. Underfloor runs can be done in hep barrier pipe, and any surface mounted pipes I would keep in copper also.

Tip: Pressure test install before you fill it with water.
