Its been a while since ive used this site, couldnt remember my old details so joined again!!

We are wanting to tee of the mains (22mm)pipe to create a water point for the outhouse
A plumber has quoted £75 inclusive of parts (but we can get parts at cost + 10% at a large plumbers merchants.
I have done quite a bit of plumbing inside the house.
Obviously we will have to dig down 2ft (we laid the pipe 3 years ago)to locate the pipe.

Is this quite an easy job to under take?. What should i watch out for?, will obviously have to cut the mains and insert the Tee then run a bit of 22mm pipe up through the floor in to the outhouse

My main concern is creating the T joint. I managed to connect the new mains up the house(it was lying in 2 feet of water at the time with some dead mice due to heavy rain!)

Is this quite an easy job to under take or is it easier just to pay to have the work done?

You said it!

If possible try to have the tee before the water meter ;)
