Over-bath shower - Edging Strip?

I have an over-bath power shower, and generally it is great.
However, when the shower gets switched off, the water runs down the outside of the flexi hose and then drips down onto the taps. From there it runs along the back of the bath (as shown with the blue arrow), before running off the side and onto the floor :(

I'm wondering if there is any kind of raised plastic lip that I can stick to the top surface of the side of the bath as a 'dam' to prevent this (where the green line is)?
I've tried searching for edging strip, bath strip, and I just can find anything.
Any suggestions please?

Thanks :)

I don't know of one. But I'm assuming you have a shower curtain, as there's no bath screen in that picture.

Getting yourself a bath screen will solve that problem, plus it looks a lot nicer than a shower curtain. Also, if there is some kind of edging stop available.. I'm sure it won't look very pretty.

Yeah sorry, we do have a shower curtain that normally hangs down inside the bath for when the shower is on, but I moved it out of the way for the photos :)
The problem is that it's not the 'falling water' of the shower that ends up on the floor, but rather the run-off, that the falls onto the tap area, then runs along the back of the bath.
We actually opted for the curtain instead of a screen for a few reasons;
  • - The curtain can be slid completely out of the way when using the bath rather than the shower (I HATE that 'closed in' feeling when bathing with a shower screen in place).

    - The curtain can easily be taken down and put through the washing machine.

    - Of all the shower screens I've ever seen / experienced they've all had either black mould in areas impossible to clean, hinges that have failed, rubber / silicon strips that perish and don't contain the water, or are either simply so big as to look unsightly (when bathing), or so small that they are not really up to the task when showering - lol

When we looked at all of our options the curtain seemed like the best suited approach for us, it's just this little problem that is niggling at me now

I bought a small-ish, purpose-made triangular section of plastic from B&Q many years ago which was designed to block the gap left between wall and shower curtain. It came with two strips that you stuck to the wall and bath and then the main section clipped into place.

Not sure if they still sell them ?

level the bath?

It IS level :p

It is closed in at both ends and one of the long sides, so of course when the water builds up on the top surface of the bath it tries to run off. Of course some of it runs back into the bath, but some of it runs onto the floor.
Of course I could unlevel the bath to ensure the water ran away from the edge, but then I'd have to redo all the bath sealing, and I'm not overly convinced having an unlevel bath is a good idea...

Think I would fit a fold back section type shower screen. Bit of a compromise but can't think of anything more.
