How big is your house?

I didn't understand the 'alternately'.

If you only have a choice between a plug-in oven or having 3 phase installed, I'd go for the oven.

Sorry bren. Me no understand. You seem to be interchanging the term oven and hob.

Definitions according to TTC:

An oven is a box that you cook things in (like a cake, or a chicken)
A hob is a flat thing that you put saucepans and frying pans on

A cooker is a single box that has an oven below and a hob on top (all in one).

So, can you rephrase your question with the correct terminology? Thank you.

PS IMO I would always go for a gas hob. You can get cookers that have an electric oven and a gas hob.

What difference does it make to the supply if the oven is plugged in, or on its own breaker?

If your supply is "full" and your drawing 23KW already (which seems wildly unlikely to me) you're going to "overload" things either way.

Bad spelling that bad almost makes me think troll

Why is it that when someone doesn't understand something, rather than trying to, they can only resort to calling someone a 'troll'?

That in itself is a form of 'trolling' if one must use such a pointless term.

Stranger still in that apart from a missing apostrophe and lower case Is, (does that count?) there were NO spelling mistakes.

Looks more to me like someone whose first language is not English. How can you use 23kW in a house though? Cultivating herbal substances perhaps?

Hydroponics was something that sprung to mind for me as well, gotta be a stonking big set up to get anywhere near 23kW though.
