my machine has a similar fault: rinses light flashing: I've replaced the brushes which were very worn, and then found the fuse on the PCB had blown, although 6K1 seems to be working fine: using a battery to test it: I don't have the tools/knowledge to test it any further. ~I replaced the fuse however, and reassembled it, and started the machine up: with the front panel open. the machine filled and then the rinses light flashed: then it stopped and the drum started to turn: at which point I shouted hooray and closed the machine. I then put a couple of jumpers in for a wash, at which point it decided no... and went back to rinse light flashing.. slight burning smell coming from somewhere too. Anyway, anyone have any advice? What is the most likely cause to be blowing the motor fuse?

One of these....brushes/brush assembly fitted wrong - short in motor connector plug - 6k1 shot - motor shot.
