Potterton Suprima 30 - Ticking Noise

Hi all

Would anyone be able to shed light on the noise my boiler is making?
I’ve attached a link to the video below

It’s a Potterton Suprima 30 about 16 years old and runs fine apart from the noise

Doesn’t happen initially when it fire’s up but only when it is up to full temperature.

And as you can see by the video, it continues to still make the noise for a bit when it is switched off

Its overdue a service anyway so that might sort it out, just wondering if anyone can identify it

Can't see or hear a video if that's what you put up as a link.

Had it quite a few times on these boilers, due to sediment/product of corrosion sitting in the bottom of the main heat exchanger.
It will get worse, I advise to try a form of system cleansing, it may help.

Not sure why you can't see the vid. Be interested to see if anyone else can.

Anyway your diagnosis sounds like what I suspected. Think I'll get it serviced and get them to check it out
