Washing Machine - Only Cold Fill

Hi All,

I have a washing machine with both hot/cold inlets, but the new private let accommodation only has pipework for a single cold connection.

Will the machine still work ok with just cold fill? What should I do with the redundant hot inlet pipe? Does it need to be blanked?

You need one of these: http://www.screwfix.com/p/washing-machine-y-piece-bsp/81000

The machine will work quite happily on cold only. In fact all new machines are cold-fill only now.
