I need to remove a radiator from a wall temporarily. All my radiators don't have any method of turning the heat up or down. My question is what do I need to loosen in order to remove it from the wall? I have attached pictures of it. Many thanks.
Not if he only wants to remove that 1 rad.If both those valves are closed you will still need to drain down the sytem, unless you have some other valves for shutting off the flow and return pipes.

Maybe he wants to leave that rad and temporarily remove the rest of the systemPerhaps I have missed something. Why would the OP need to drain down the system to remove
the radiator with both valves closed?
...stop it...you just cost me a fookin keyboard...Maybe he wants to leave that rad and temporarily remove the rest of the system
If (albeit unlikely) not enough wiggle room to remove valves from rad, then it would be necessary to remove rad with valves attached. Why would the OP need to drain down the system to remove
the radiator with both valves closed?
