Recommendation: Bath Acrylic Scratch Remover / Cleaner

Hi all,

Bought a bath a while ago while doing some renovations.

Finally fitted the bath but now it has a fair number of scratches in it - my fault for not covering it properly the Mrs says. I agree for a change.

I have seen a few products online;

• Anglo Acrylic Bath Repair Kit - £35!
• Cramer kits from plumbworld
• Quixx Xerapol Acrylic Scratch Remover

I am sure there are loads more but I am trying to find what other DIYer's may have used for baths specifically. The Quixx one is about £10 and reviews seem OK but more focussed on cars - headlights, dash boards etc.

Son-in-law slipped with a Stanley leaving a deep gouge in bath, used this and removed all trace of mark.

Car based products are perfect for acrylic baths and usually significantly cheaper then anything sold especially for baths.
