Hello,
I have had a boiler fitted that came with an RT510TX programmable thermostat.

I was given a fold out booklet to accompany this which contains details as to how to set the time and pair it with the boiler.

Unfortunately it does not come with any kind of clear instructions as to how to programme it.

I have 6 images none of which explain how to set a time for it to go off.

I have just woken up this morning to find my house baking hot and have recently received a bill for over £300 for gas (which I can I’ll-afford) when all I want is for the heating to switch on for one hour a day.

I would be grateful if anyone could send me or explain with some clear instructions as to how to set it to go on and then off as the instructions come with no indication of how to do this.

I don’t want the listed 42 setting a week, I just want an hour in the morning then off and ditto the evening. All other thermostats I’ve used have had an ‘on at [time], off at [time] style setting. This just has a series of numbers.

Many thanks.

Matt

@robin7 good reply, that guide is not complicated at all, said for ages these programmers and programmable room stats are getting more complicated by the day, I come across at least one every day that asks me how to work them, there is absolutely no need for them to be so complicated

The batteries went in mine overnight so when got it back working its got random settings. I have never used the timer I have always just turned it on/off manually but now it is turning itself on and I don't know how to stop it. I tried the hand symbol which I thought was override but it turns it sell off and changes programmes. Any ideas how to stop this?? Hellllppppppp x
