Sunderland voted Brexit...

"Nissan delays pay talks with UK workers until terms of Brexit made clearer"

I say forget any wage negotiations...
Move production to mainland Europe, and chuck them on the dole!

But since the majority of Brexiteers think that a family member losing their job is a 'price worth paying' then cutting off your nose to spite your face will probably be seen as a 'mark of honour'

Mind you, Brexiteers are an extreme bunch...
'87% of Northern Ireland leave voters say peace process collapse price worth paying for Brexit'

Presumably then as Brexiteers think that a collapsed economy and family on the dole is ok, then losing a family member in an act of terrorism is also a price worth paying for Brexit?

It was quite hard reading what you wrote. A bit like the remoaners it was a load of jibberish coupled with some big words. :cautious:

Most of what companies say about brexit is scare tactics to try and stop it happening. The truth is not much will change (y)

Why would they want to stop it happening if nothing will change? Most of what companies are actually doing is begging for clarity from the PM. They are not getting it though.

Well I guess the actual truth has that effect on some people :)

Look up the polls then tell us why Nissan shouldn't move if Brexit affects their business.

And you can also tell us if you think that those brexiteer attitudes about N.I. are acceptable.

Because if the 'troubles' return, then brexiteers will have blood on their hands!

Companies that are indeed against Brexit must truly believe that they will suffer if we crash out, because they probably stand to gain from not having to comply with EU tax avoidance legislation...

Thus the losses must outweigh the gains in their calculations under that scenario!

Nice to see you finally started a thread with your favourite phrase. :)

Large companies have multi year plans - which are reviewed on a continued basis. How can you plan when you do not know whether you will be in a CU and SM. This is huge - it's not your corner shop running out of bread and milk like quitters seem to think.

Problem is the public is so ill informed the Politicians have preferred it this way.

Although to be fair anyone with a bit of nouse could see through the leave campaigns lies and nonsense...

Thus if suffering and hardship is required to prompt the 52% into becoming better informed, then so be it!

I for one will not buy a Nissan if they do this. I would hope that you would not buy a Nissan or any car manufacturer that leaves this country.
