Texecom Premier Elite 24

Hi guys,

We have a Texecom Premier Elite 24 alarm system, we are having some work done in our lounge and I need to move the wireless pir can I move it without missing the system up or would I need to get a engineer to do it?

It's a simple job to move it, but to avoid tamper alarms you first need to enter the engineer code. Do you have that ?

Ah no I don’t have the engineers code, if I move will the alarm work properly until I can get a engineer round to enter the code?

If you do not have the engineers code, it is possible the engineer has not disabled engineer tamper reset or anticode reset.

Which means you may not be able clear the fault, you may be able to omit the zone though to set your system.

It is possible to get round this but it means turning panel off and on in a specific sequence and reprogramming the time and date, but given your apparent level of alarms I would not recommend this.

Have you tried the default engineers code, you might drop lucky and its still set as the default values.
