Doesn't the 2 litre diesel use the VW motor? I thought most were the 2.2.
Anyway, if its the former, budget £400 / £450 which must include tensioners and a water pump, plus new antifreeze of course.....an alternator belt is a must too. An independent garage could be £100 cheaper, I guess.

A full Gates timing belt kit, with pump and coolant will be around a ton. (VW)

I always use Eurocarparts to source a cam belt kit.
INA or Contitech are German makes and I've never had a problem with them. If you go to a VW dealer the cam belts in those brand new cars in the showroom are usually INA brand.
