Hey guys,

I'm struggling to match some bricks that are about 20 years old. I'm in Warwickshire if thats any help was wondering if anyone know what these could be?

I've been to BPS, TP, MK and no joy anything with a similar texture is always slightly too red.

Previous tenants swore they were Northcot, but they've got nothing similar.

If they’re only 20 years old I’m surprised it’s not cavity wall, doesn’t look it from the bond. If the guys in bps cant source it, only other place possibly worth trying is the big reclamation yard at wolston. Only “local” brick round here I really know of is leamingtons, which it ain’t, altho not a million miles off so possibly used to match into them if it’s an extension.

Trouble is they are a red engineering brick so all you are going to get pointed towards are class B reds. Also, there isn't the abundance of varied stock lying around in builders merchants these days, so choice is limited. One of the reasons why loyalty pays off, in that a diligent savvy manager would put in a bit of leg-work even for a modest sale.

Thanks guy, @23vc the bonding is to match the original property so the bricks are halved and on end with a 65mm cavity.

I've found https://ehsmith.co.uk/product/capital-multi-73mm/ and waiting on a sample to turn up only have stock down in London but the best match going off images alone.

Some Northcot samples were way off so I think the previous owners may have misremembered.
