Also, just ordered a couple of clip-on pipe thermometers to check my flow and return temperatures. Might be a bit of tinkering and fine tuning to be done there too. Busy, busy, busy!

Well, that was a disappointment. Came just after 6.00. Opened it up and the P.O.S. wouldn’t even switch on. Anyway, looking at the instructions you have to bathe it in distilled water, calibrate it using three different ph solutions blah blah blah. I’ve lost interest now. It’s going back, return label already printed. Can’t wait for my pipe thermometers to come.What are you talking about, I’ve got plenty to do! Tester is being delivered between 6pm and 10pm tonight. I've already set a chair up in the hall and I’m sitting here browsing the tinternet waiting for the Amazon driver to arrive!

Don't forget, when using the clip on thermometers, after registering the temperatures, take them off and reverse them so that you can take a mean to compensate for the likely difference in accuracy of each unit
