Hi people
I had a go at painting the tiles on my front porch but unfortunately the paint has peeled in about 2 weeks....
I used masonry paint but clearly I haven't prepped the area properly so can anyone advise me how to fix this and do a proper job?

Masonry paint is not designed for tiles and not designed to be walked on.

Painting any sort of tile is difficult especially ones in high traffic areas and I wouldn't recommend it as the paint never lasts long as youve found out

The best thing to do is to replace the tiles with some black ones if that's the look you are going for , it's not a big area so won't be too expensive if you shop around

Would I be OK to use all purpose liquid primer over the top of this, and then lay a new set of Quarry tiles with external tile adhesive?
Would that work OK and give me a firm long lasting finish?

You don't need to use primer that's only if you're painting.

If the tiles are well stuck down , then check they are flat if any protruding grind them down , sand the c*** out of the tiles to scratch the surface and provide a key , then tile as normal.

Will look good once you've finished
