I have my bathroom floor up and have some nice access to a lot of the polypipe setup for the house. I have upgraded the clips to screw in clamp style clips to give them more support but the hot feed when turning off the tap is moving around in the ceiling and knocking against the other pipes . There is nowhere to attach clips due to be pipe sitting central in the ceiling - the only possible area is where the pipe goes through a 40mm cutout. Is there anything I can do to clamp this onto the joist without clips to stop it sliding around freely.
It’s 15mm pipe and the ever so slight water hammer is actually made worse by the pipes moving around their axis. It’s not a big issue but may as well address it while it’s accessible. Guess that’s a downside to plastic pipes!
Thanks
