My neighbours boiler plume is kicked out their flue next to my daughter's bedroom window and is causing damp to build in the corner of the room. I have asked them to put extension on but wont they say it's legal distance (they're correct).
Is there any sort of product I could mount on our boundary to deflect the plume. Or is a sheet/plate just as good

Do you know it’s definitely the boiler plumage causing this?

Get a close up of the flue terminal - it may have an end piece that can be re-mounted to point L R U or D.

sorry to hijack, but my query is quite similar: I need my boiler outlet pipe to be extended up then out, as the plume is making my own fascias green. What do I search for for a solution?

Is the first one on this page the jobby I'm after? It says it should be installed by a gas installer - isnt it just a matter of attaching it ??!?

I was of the impression that while there is a set of minimum distances specified in Building Regs and manufacturers instructions for the placement of the flue terminal, that there is also a catch all that says the plume from the flue must not cause a nuisance.

No, fitting it can affect combustion as you're extending the exhaust, and also creating a difference in length (and therfore resistance) between the air intake and the exhaust. The boiler will need testing with a flue gas analyser and the gas valve may require adjustment
