Chimney removal brickwork

Hi
I was hoping for some advice on removing the last part of a chimney. How am I best to remove the remaining brick and concrete lintel so that it’s flush with the walls? I’m assuming it’ll need a large angle grinder? I didn’t want to continue taking a hammer drill to the solid walls although it’s a bungalow kitchen so only the loft above.
