Can anyone suggest what might be causing the above, It's not a Kettling sound - it's more like an asthmatic Parrot! It's has only just started a couple of days ago other than that the Boiler is working fine . ( A Powerflush was carried out about 5 weeks ago)

they are just noisy. I had a new one and the noise was apparent from day one, ideal came and checked and its standard.

I would never go for an ideal again for noise reasons. My old one was silent.

Condensing boilers not such the great idea it was meant to be.

I have a natural disposition to slag of Ideal at each opportunity.... but seriously?

Dumbass post of the year so far. Well done.

This is a non condensing boiler, it's about 18 years old and every engineer who has serviced it has said leave it alone & don't change it for a ' condensing boiler' Whilst I accept that Ideal made a troublesome boiler with the Isar/ Icos , I have been happy with this one.But to keep on topic can anyone give me any clues as to what the noise is? Unfortunately my Gas engineer is away at the moment.

My Ideal boiler also just started wheezing, I took a video:

I'm guessing it's air in the system maybe?

Start your own post if you want the correct advice, it is against site rules to Hi-jack someone elses thread , and for good reason,
