Cable on top of insulation.
Plasterboard on top of cables.
PS. No need for aluminium channel, in fact that will retain heat rather than let it dissipate.

Aluminium is a great conductor of heat and is a common material for heatsinks, so I think it would sink the heat.
It wouldn't provide much in the way of mechanical protection though, if that was the thinking behind it.

I don't give it much thought!
I think my first book was 1956 ladybird book of birds' and I don't think I've read 10 in my life including school. I was thrown out of shakespeare class for laughing when I had to read, and came across 'methinks' and couldn't carry on. I can read ok, but only read 'how to do' pages. I can do a fair bit
I think I write how I speak so "must've" is said "must of"
I have a kind of dyslexia which has a habit of leaving gaps in what I read
