I want to change my gas oven and hob for an electric oven and hob.
I have a 32A MCB for the cooker circuit which goes to a 45A double pole cooker switch which then goes to a cooker connection unit as shown in the picture.
I am having the gas pipe capped off this weekend and will be hardwiring my new electric oven and hob to this connection unit. I have done the calculations and applied diversity to ensure no overload.
My question is, this is a single connection unit, how do I change this to a double/dual appliance connection unit?
I know you can buy a dual appliance outlet, however is it just a case of swapping the internals or will I have to swap the entire outlet?
