I’m thinking of hiring a wackerplate :- any of you guys who have used one before tell me if it’s feasible/practical to lift it yourself into an estate car ?
The smallest ones are about 58kg…..
You could always lift in 2 stages, ground onto a hop up or similar then into the car. I manage to lift mine into my trailer on my own but I wouldn't want to do it every day!
Almost 20 years ago, I hired a whacker-plate to do my patio. Put it in the back of my '98 Micra, no bother. Was a tad tricky lifting it in/out, but both me and the car survived!
