Megaflo immersion heater

Is that the old or the new? The cut-off flex suggests the old one, but it looks nice and clean.
You didn't say the new one (Eco) was 2nd hand! From the photo it lokks like an immersion heater to me. But if you do need to swap them, AFAIK immersions are threaded 2 1/4 BSP, or always used to be.
Megaflo ones are a different size
OK, but if both Megaflos are the same, can still be swapped.
Yes, it does have an immersion and the stats etc, but presumably not wired to a supply when the cylinder was originally installed hence the seller saying it didn't have one - I guess on the basis that there was only one cable going into the cover.
I'll strip the one out of the old cylinder for spares before it goes. I know it's stainless not copper but is there any scrap value to it?

Don't know offhand. If you take it to a scrapyard and they won't give you much or anything for it, at least it gets rid of it.
