Hi All,

I have a Megaflo CL210 unit, to which I have recently installed a device to divert surplus electrical generation from a PV supply to the immersion heater within the Megaflo.

This has generally worked very well, except that sometimes I return home and find that the MCB has tripped and hence no power is going to the immersion unit. When I reset the MCB and switch the immersion unit back on, there is a "bang"! I think this appears to come from the Indirect Thermal Cut-Out. Could this be at fault and is it easy to replace?

Many thanks

It needs to be properly diagnosed by testing.

You really do mean the MCB do you?
