Morning all
Appreciate there are a few posts on this but recently I’ve noticed that the cistern is taking ages to fill up. The supply is fully open so it must be the flush valve.
When it fills up it’s more like a fine spray than a steady flow of water. It does stop filling though.
Any advice on how to open up the valve and check for debris? It looks as if its clipped on both sides as opposed to screwed in. I can’t seem to get under or around the clip to pop them out, unless I remove the whole valve?
If it’s too tricky then I suspect a replacement valve would be the best solution, assuming I can find the part. Hopefully it’s a generic part and can find on Amazon or plumbers merchant.
Any advice would be most appreciated!
