Hi all, i have been really stitched up by a cowboy plumber (see here: https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/...-has-used-15mm-for-main-heating-feeds.651154/) and so need to take the drawer unit out of my new kitchen to access the floor beneath and run additional pipework. Does anyone have any tips for me as to how best i can remove the unit without ruining my kitchen?

Do i need to take the worktop off? How would i avoid damaging the plinth underneath?

Any help would be really appreciated as its not been a fun weekend.

The plinth should be on clips, and the unit is probably on adjustable legs, so take out the drawers, remove plinth, remove fixings between cabinets and any upwards into the WT, wind the legs down and slide it out. Hopefully not too much adhesive has been used.....

A sucker can help to remove the plinth. And also check he hasn't fixed with any screws through cabinet base

There are usually screws connecting cabinets to one another, check for those and remove.
Also screws connecting the cabinets to the worktop: through cabinet carcass at front and L brackets at back.
Finally, there should also be 2 screws fixing the cabinet to the wall.
After you remove all of these, remove plinth which is clipped in, lover legs and slide out.
It's a 10 minute job.
That's assuming the kitchen fitter has done things correctly without glueing anything.
