My kitchen floor is flagstones which obviously are not even. Any suggestions how to finish off the plinth when I replace the units? The current plinth has been scribed but looks untidy, and has soaked up the moisture. Thought about leaving a 25 - 50mm gap so there would be a definate break then doing something with the exposed unit legs. Would have to be able to remove plinth easily for cleaning

J - if it's a nice feature floor which goes all the way under the units to the walls, then don't bother plinthing. Source some decent 'visible' cabinet legs (chrome is one example) to create a great look and avoid the problem of scribing in the new plinths.
