Just a query Im fitting a kitchen from howdens and have noticed that the plinths are 6 1/2inchs wide. The end panels if you set the base units to the height of the plinths are aprox 2 inchs higher than the top of the base units which means Im having to cut each end panel down. Ive been to howdens and they dont do any wider plinths than 6 1/2 inchs so im just wondering why they have got end panels this size? I was always under the impression that you set your base units to the height of your end panels and everything else would fit but in this case if i did that id have a 2 inch gap between the bottom of the base unit and the top of the plinth Im obviously missing something any ideas lol

They are larger so you can scribe them to uneven floors and can also be used as end panels for 900mm high wall units

the panels and plynth are both oversize for scribing,

iirc the worktop should be around 920mm high with a 38mm worktop, as a quide the legs usually are 150mm
