Hi, just about to install my kitchen, question is.....should the end panels on a tall unit be cut down so the top is flush with the top of the unit and at the bottom, should it be recessed at the front so the plinth is continuous. would appreciate your help.

If it's an end panel the plinth will be stopping at it? where's it going to continue too?
As for height any thing removed should come off the bottom or you have an ugly cut at the top.

Is the tall unit at the end of a run? If so then the very end panel won't need recessing for the plinth. The inner one may however be recessed to allow the plinth to carry on across the rest of the units. Height shouldn't be an issue (depending on the sort of cornice (if any)) you have decided upon.
As Foxy has said cutting at the bottom is a better option, thus leaving the nice manufactured edge (which will be seen) at the top.

Yeah cheers guys, after giving it a little thought it soon became obvious what to do, just panicked on assembling the first unit
