Hello All

My kitchen run has a dishwasher next to an under-worktop oven. Inbetween I'd planned to put an end panel to support the worktop.

I'd read on here (e.g. the below thread) that this end panel should be be brought out flush with the cabinet doors. Makes sense I think. But how to get the panel over the plinth/kickstand ?

Cut the end panel to slot over it or cut the plinth in two with one cut either side of the panel?

Hmmm was about to say "great thanks that's what I'll do" when I just realised it would mean the end panel sitting on floorboards for most of its length but then finished-floor which goes just under the plinth. So I'd need to notch under the endpanel when fitting the finished floor at the end.

Trick I learnt from floor specialist the other day: fit mdf 6mm board from 2 inches where end panel sits to end of washing machine void.
Then lay flooring using 6mm underlay, then fit panels.
That way the panel will sit on solid ground and floor won't need to be cut around it.
