I need to patch up a small portion of untiled wall in my bathroom. This was previously exposed breeze block.
Had a plasterer around last week to plaster the ceiling and he also offered to apply bonding to the exposed breezeblock saying that I could PVA the bonding and then put some tiles on it. Which I okayed because he seemed to know what he was talking about. I've since then discovered online that bonding is not a suitable substrate for tiling onto.
Given it's a small area (one row of tiles at floor level) and will be mostly covered by a toilet and vanity unit, can I just PVA this and then stick some tiles on this? The tile size will be 250mm x 400mm.
Cheers
