Are these old bulkhead light fittings replaceable with LED?

This thread seems even more odd than we usually see
As you say, the OP, seemingly in Hertfordshire UK, has not been seen again since his very first post which started this thread. Much of the rest of the 2-3 pages seems consist of arguments with someone in Australia !
