Unusual and very unlucky that after fitting one rad they need a new pump. Unless it wasn’t working beforehand. If it was working beforehand then I’d say you are the ones liable.
It’s also my experience. You went nowhere near the boiler directly, but indirectly could have affected the pump
Hardly the same analogy. More like if the mechanic changed the brake pads, drained the brake fluid but then didn’t add any more fluid, the new brakes give rise to a problem.its like if a mechanic changed a battery and the engine blown as the customer drove away
