As I said earlier in the thread, there was a significant pause between the first 1-2 shots and the rest.

That still image makes it look incredibly bad, as if they had made him kneel for an execution. But that might not be what really happened. He was actually shot both before and after that still image.

When this gets to a civil claim. I’d expect the fact that the dead man’s gun was not in a safe state will play a part. Irrelevant of what is normal for the US. The state of his firearm contributed to the outcome.

Yes, moments before the shooting started, an agent had taken Alex's gun. That agent then walks off holding that gun. Then the first shot is fired, which is most likely an accidental discharge. And then Alex is shot three or four times from behind whilst kneeling, as in the photos above.

Nor does carrying a firearm in the US mean you are more likely to be shot to death by ~~Trumps' Nazi Brownshirts~~ ICE agents. However, simply existing in a blue state, currently being swarmed with armed masked thugs with a license to commit murder, does shorten your life expectancy somewhat.

No, but it probably makes them more careful riders.

One of the big arguments against gun control is that someone carrying a concealed lethal weapon is less likely to use it if they don't know who else is carrying a concealed lethal weapon. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Should the UK legalise pepper spray so that women can carry it in their handbags to use it against potential rapists?
