I see that a number of the people here who really struggle to conduct themselves on the basis of facts and truths have decided to show yet again that they DGAS for honesty.
Not if it’s in their contract. Would your average premiership player sign a no alcohol clause?

I doubt you would need to sign anything, turning up to a match half-****ed would get you dropped!
Stopping a game so people can eat is a slippery slope, it doesn't need to happen, it's not inclusive it's divisive.
My guess is the club would be as insistent as the player if not more so, every point counts.
Eating is permitted: breakfast, 'ere the dawn rises; before fasting officially begins for the day and an evening meal, after sunset. So night games are a possible. Even a day game can be done if the player is fit enough. I don't see what the fuss is about.

I have no idea about the house being built by Pakistanis. But there is no denying that the UK actively encouraged and recruited people from the Caribbean and the Indian Sub-Continent to come to the UK to work. It is a matter of historical fact.

If we had proper football clubs that are owned by fans, rather than dodgy foreign billionaires, then the overwhelming majority of them who don't want stoppages for Ali snacks could simply vote against it. If that means not hiring certain players then so be it.
It's like that ridiculous Army advert from a few years ago, where the Muslim soldier is praying on a mat whilst his comrades in arms stand around waiting for him. Simply ludicrous. We all rolled our eyes and shook our heads at the sheer, woke stupidity of it. Put your life on the line and undermine the defence of your country... so some DEI narcissist with OCD can pray in the middle of the battle.
No normal, native Brit is interested in this stuff. They don't want to see it, hear it or indulge it. Whether this is politically correct or not is neither here nor there.
