Trump was at the White House (makes a change!)
The attacker (?) was in Florida.
He had a can of petrol and a shotgun so hardly “the mechanic”

Police are looking into what has lead him to carry out this "attack" they are talking about who may have influenced him either there or abroad. Imagine if he has been reading Nosealls vile lies and misinformation spreading on this forum.
The Trump fan club is thriving.

To think there are nutters who say it was all fake and staged.
Not saying it's staged in any way, but would be hard to top that for an iconic photo. Bloodied, but not down, punching the air - even the flag is perfect.

It looks like he is shielding the secret service rather than the other way round. What a guy.
One in million photograph, even the photographer couldn't quite believe the result, right place right time.
A local lad who I knew called Gary Trotter went on to to be a war photographer, he covered the Balkans, both Iraq wars and Afghanistan. In 2006 when at home he heard John Prescott was at Chequers for a few days so he decided to spend a day and night there to see if any opportunities arose. Not wanting to spend at least 24 hours hiding in a bush on his own he took a builder mate along for company. After 24 hours Gary had enough and said we'll call it a day, the builder said leave it out Gary, let's give it another couple of hours, so they did and got the famous picture of JP playing croquet. He made a lot of money off that one photograph.
The journalist who covered the story is a close friend of mine and we were talking about it last year when he told me Gary had died. He was laughing about how the builder was really chuffed that Gary had given him a nice bottle of wine for his help, until he heard how much Gary earned from that one picture.
