What motive would Irann have for lying about having talks? Fear of backlash from Irannian public opinion lol? There are probably talks about talks via Pakkistan. But those are not the advanced negotiations that Trumpf implies.

Again how is in the Irannian leaderships interests to deny there are talks?
They have to know where they are to bump them off, you would be wary id the last time you had talks your team was "bumped off"
Its not a slant. There is a difference between Trumpf's lies (lets call them spin) and the facts, which are that Irann will not trust Trumpf because the last set of talks was no more than an opportunity to identify and wipe out their leadership.
There are plenty of fruit cakes about Tranny, but there's more than one bowl on the table.
Trumpf is buying time to get more troops across, he will almost certainly take out their power plants, and sadly they will draw in the middle east countries by attacking their desalination facilities. What's happening now is just a precursor to all that. Maybe even the destruction of some holy Sunny sites.
Emperor Trumpf is surrounded by courtiers not advisers and they are encouraging him to send in ground troops to finish off the regime. You remember the recent successful regime change - that went from Khamenni to Khamenni.
