Hello,
I have a Mira 88 installed which is about 25 yrs old. I have a leak from the shower head outlet at the compression fitting behind the tiling that bends 90 degrees to the shower head hose. It’s not the seal that sits at the end of the plastic fitting, it’s from the elbow connector that connects the hose housing. I can’t get to the connection unless I rip out the tiles which of course is a massive job.
I can gain access to the other end of the cooper pipe that connects into the valve. Now I’m wondering if there’s anything I can feed into the pipe to try and seal the leaking connector.
From what I can see, I can’t pull the pipe up through the valve opening and my only real chance is pull the tiles off the wall and expose the piping.
Anybody got any ideas pls?
