But for new arrivals to the thread, it might have looked as though you were expressing something that agreed with.

One of the new lads in our group recorded their fastest speed, when he foolishly thought he could tackle a steep black, slipped near the top and went head first, all the way to the bottom.

He left almost everything behind. Luckily for him, his skis were only beginner tight and were the first things to fly off. It was far too steep for him, especially at the beginning (mogully) of the run.
