They arepresumably safe enough for anyone (including children) to touch, as they are, but if it is felt necessary/appropriate to do something to make it more difficult for primary school children to 'fiddle with them', that might perhaps a different matter!

Thank you John for responding.
Im assuming they are nit dangerous, I wondering if regs state anything.

These are for the Air con units. The pests keep turning them off.

Not to my knowledge. As we've agreed, they are designed to be safe 'as is'

As I implied, that's obviously a potential issue that you might want to address - but it's not really anything to do with electrical regulations. After all, 'the pests' could interfere with any switches they come across (light switches, switches on sockets etc. etc.) :-)

On the isolators that stick out, I can see you could just drill an extra hole to allow them to be locked on as well as off, but is that possible to do that on these ones with the recessed actuator?
