Patching sandstone for painting

Hi, the attached photo shows sandstone which has had all the loose/bubbling paint removed, sealed and repainted.
How best to make the patches where the paint has been removed less obvious?
I know sanding the edges of the patches would make the patchers less obvious but could someone recommend an external skim product to fill the “void” before repainting?
Or another solution? Thx

Touprelith F will do it. Made by toupret...
They have a technical helpline and I'd phone that
 
As per @wayner 's post Touprelith F will work. It is relatively soft. The finish is also (very, very) slightly gritty.

If you want a smoother finish, perhaps consider Toupret Multitough (AKA as Fibrex). Where it meets the old edges of paint, it will feather out more smoothly.

Fibrex is harder than T F.

If you want a harder finish, look at Toupret Murex or two pack filler.

Personally, assuming that you are not sanding everything flat, I would go with @wayner 's recommendation.
