Much more in Scotland, and much less in Southern England.

We need a few days of it to make a difference.

I think my wipers beat about three times across the screen, on my way to work this morning.
 
Plenty of cloud too, will help prevent it drying off so quickly.

Thankfully it looks like only light showers, which is exactly what you want/need.

Also the North wasn't as baked as the South so less flash flooding risk, at least yours hope so
 
This is very informative about how important sunlight is to humans.
