Hello, I need to fit a light in a bathroom that is part of a loop. The light itself doesn't offer a suitable method of connection to cater for the loop and therefore has me stumped.

I have taken a photo of the current wiring (a) and a photo of the new light (b).

I wondered if someone could shed a little light (excuse the pun) on the situation and explain how I would wire up the new light.

Thanks in advance

Chris

Connect one black to the left terminal, cpc to the middle terminal and other black to the right terminal, then connect the two reds together in another terminal block.

PS - if it's a bathroom light, I believe it's notifiable work!

The black that currently goes to the brown needs to be tagged red (ideally with sleeving), and this needs to go to the side where you can just about see the brown of the fixture wiring underneath the heat proof stuff.
